Freediving
Whether you're into freediving, spearfishing, underwater sports, underwater photography or just enjoy snorkelling around, everyone wants to dive deeper, stay down longer and be safe whilst doing it.
The best possible way to achieve this is to enrol in a freediving course run by a qualified instructor.
Freediving Instructors
The club is fortunate to have as members, several freediving instructors and if you would like to find out more information about freediving, or wish to enrol in a freediving or spearfishing course with them, their contact details are listed on this page.
Freediving Safety Website
If enrolling in a formal instructor lead course is not an option, then you may be interested in the online freediving safety course created by US freediving instructor, Ted Harty. This free online course is available to everyone and covers some important freediving safety procedures. The online course takes a little over an hour to complete and, whilst this is not a replacement for a formal training course, it does give a very good understanding of the risks of freediving and how to mitigate them.
The course is available at https://freedivingsafety.com/
